Can I copy images from the Internet (other websites) for use on my own website or for print?
Website content, including images is copyrighted content of their respective publishers. This means that the publishers have exclusive legal right to the content. You should not copy images or other content from other websites for your own use, as it may expose you or your organization to liability for copyright infringement.
Additionally, large print-quality images are, as a rule, not used on websites, because large images take more time to load (download to your computer from the Internet). This means a website that uses large images is noticeably slower.
Images that are used on website are significantly smaller and lower in quality than print images. These small images are not suitable for print, especially large print designs.
